You cant really fart in a general direction. smells tend to disperse omnidirectionally even if you direct your cheeks in someones direction. Particularly if you have some Marks and Sparks stone washed jeans on.

I'd love a dog, I reckon.

Never had one though, as I don't want my house to fucking stink. It always makes me laugh when dog owners reckon their doesn't and they're completely oblivious to it. Plus I'd hate cleaning up their shit constantly.

Yeah don't want it eating into your WHO time Trunds...

Nice to know people like Oxsnore and co don't do dogs... the hound would slit it's paws within a week living with that monotonous cunt.

Regarding smells.... you know what I fucking LOVE wet dog smell.... and if it keeps cunts like trunds and Oxsnore and their sensitive snozz's out of my gaff then all the better...

*farts in their general direction *

'Dogs have owners ,cats have staff ' love cats - We had a Bouvier (a Belgian cattle dog) he was smarter than me (not hard) and he never shed fur - a great guard dog, smashing with kids but nothing smells like a wet dog

I would say that Bengals are very different from all other breeds I've come across.

My cousin has a Bengal. I went round there one time and thought the cat was trying to scrounge some chocolate off me. It turned out it just wanted to play fetch with the foil wrapper.

They have a lovely smooth pelt as well. Mind you, they have less road sense than the average moggy.

Re: Getting some pussy
Always had a cat until I started my jet-set apprenticeship. I vaguely remember when I was about 2 that the family had a dog then one day it was gone and never mentioned again, but piecing together my family history it seems that I teased it a little too much as a toddler and it turned on me, so it was "Battersead".

Since then It's always been cats.

As for dogs stinking the house out? Don't they just?

My ex- pestered me into getting a dog "for the kids" and although the dog & I instantly bonded, I found coming home every night to that stink worse than having to sit in the smoking carriage of a train on my commute home because all the other seats were taken.

People around me have dogs and I've no issue with them, they clearly like to be noticed and have their heads scratched for a while, but that's about as close as I get.

When I get to my "Mud hut on the Cambodian border" I may adopt one of the many street dogs that wander through the village, providing that it doesn't give me a guilt trip when I inevitably wander off on my travels again - a cat will always look after itself.

Re: Getting some pussy
My daughter got a Maine Coon and then buggered off to Singapore supposedly for a couple of years so we agreed to look after her, five years later still over there and we've still got her. She's fooking huge, likes to be around people but is quite timid and loves water. Our garden is fenced off and she makes no attempt to escape so we don't have the wondering off problem!

Had both a cat and a dog, loved them to bits and was truly heart broken when they died!

Our last cat died in 2018. Since then we left the cat flap open and our next door neighbour rescues cats from Irlend. One young male started coming in and he spends half his time with us. We don't have to feed it and can go on holiday any time we like.

Plankton agreed.
We bought a moggy last year from.a kitten but was just about to sign up.to.get a rescue cat. The lady we bought ours from.needed to get them.sold quick.as she had a lot on her plate including a child with special needs. The kitten cost me 50 quid but it's the best money I ever spent. He is adorable.. He has also.learned to knock at the door when her wants get back in hence no need for a cat flap as always someone in. Scared the hell out of me first time he did it, as I didn't know he could and heard a loud repeated knock at 3am.....thought shit what's happening, got up answered the door and the cat (Paolo) came sauntering in meowing for his breakfast..

Forget a fancy cat, get an old Heinz 57 from the rescue centre that's had a shit life and treat it to a lovely, loving retirement. If it's going outside through a cat-flap, make sure it has a bell so the birds have half a chance.

'does my house smell of dog?'...'no mate, not at all'

I like the way cats need barely any looking after, though. Especially if you have a cat flap. Feed them 2/3 times a day and that's pretty much it.

What Canvey said... look I don't dislike cats... I'm a animal lover... however I dislike their psychotic murdering needs... and any Bird lovers will normally have a air rifle to hand... so give me a hound anytime... funny as it's coming up to a year since we lost our Black lab... miss him everyday ... was my constant companion and was there for me on some very very dark days ... I think if I would have had a cat I would still be at the bottom of Beachy Head... still nowhere near replacing him... however we now have 2 Ferrets to look after... courtesy of my daughter... they keep us on our toes.

Re: Getting some pussy
Cats don't vary by breed as much as dogs. They are all pretty much the same in character, so the only reason to get a specific breed is looks, which is kind of a vanity reason. A moggy from the rescue centre is as likely to be the perfect pet as an expensive breed, and is less likely to suffer from inbred health conditions. Go short-haired if possible - less moulting to clear up around the house.

Re: Getting some pussy
I respect cats for what they are. they don’t pretend to be something they are not. Zero loyalty. If you let it out and the neighbours cat food is better, it won’t be your cat anymore.

Owners let them out. They shit everywhere. They get run over. Then the owner goes on Facebook to tell the world how someone run their beloved cat over (which spent all day and night outdoors anyway) and pretends to be devastated.

Pointless pet imo if it will be outside most the time.

Get a dog.

Bengal pussy can be highly temperamental, prone to sudden angry outbursts and violently verbose. Be warned.

Not wrong. I can testify to that after being married to one for many years.

Had a Bengal Snow Leopard (Cosmo) as our last puss. Beautiful to look at, fully engages with their human, very vocal. Into everything all day and night long. Cosmo loved to be carried and hugged as well.

Just to point out, I have had many animals in my life, including cats, just never a Maine Coon, Bengal or Ragdoll. Just seeking advice on these breeds in particular.

Maine Coon?

Racist.
